This song has the most powerful lyrics I've ever heard. Every time I hear Billy sing it I just get chills. And its sad to think that Mattie intended on the song being about his brother Jamie- when now we can all look at it as Mattie being the one who passed away. The anniversary of his death is coming up very soon.. The 22nd. His birthday is coming up too.. We all need to celebrate. He would want us to.

Mattie's birthday is July 17th. He would be 16 this year.
